Last enclosure I built was for my truck. I performed a "cut through" in the hid-away compartment in the rear. Yes it hits hard.

12 grade cold rolled stainless welded to make the enclosure carrier:

The enclosure. Sealed, 1" thick high density.

Perfect fit....with some hammers:

FIBERGLASS!!!!! To seal it up tight, and some carpet over it:

And no one knows the wiser. Plus it leaves a lot of room that most enclosures take up.

I will post more of the Z tonight. As for your enclosure, I am confident we can get something together equal or greater in structer and class. Lemme know when you get materials around, and I will help yah through "playing" with the glass/rosin.

I found a project to try fiberglassing on. I'm going to make an enclosure for my sons Power Wheels Escalade. I have most of the materials, just have to pick up some sanding blocks. The speakers that come on it are fake but underneath there are some 2.5"s. My goal is to pretty much replicate this back panel minus the cubby hole and mount some real speakers.
