DD1508 question

What's a good amp to push 2 1508's? Not looking to spend too much money. Also, I currently only have one 1508 in a box directly from DD, would it be okay to run 2 in their own seperate boxes?

they will work fine in seperate boxes...if you can ......get them a true 1000 watts...to make them come alive...i'm putting 4 dual 4's in my Wrangler this week on a DD Special Edition...I'm gonna run that setup at Turky Drags in Tyler Texas

My cousin is running my old pair of carbon fiber dustcap 1508s off of an older Power 1000bd that was 2 ohm stable. He likes the setup!

This chart is for tuning boxes in the 35-40Hz range.

0.75^ft (1) 8" 11.25 sq" vent x 22" long

1.00^ft (1) 8" 15.0 sq" vent x 23" long

That's directly from the DD site. I'm not exactly sure because it's been a while but it's one of these.

they shouldn't bottom out...maybe you need a subsonic filter...if you have that feature on your amp set it at 30hz and try listening to it there...you may want to slowly adjust it towards 35
