DD z2lv vs. Stetsom 7kd

The SPL Dynamics D-9S is basically the same amp as the DD Z2-lv... Just like SPL Dynamics D-9XS is the same as the DD Z2-hv... They are built at the same build house in South Korea, now they are not the exact same (they have a few different parts added here and there) but, they are the same boards and same build quality. (American Bass & Zapco's dB Burn amps are built by the same build house also!!)

I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I was the first person to get Stetsom amps here in north america, I was running 2 7kd's daily and four for burps, I still have those 5 year old amps in my shop. I took them out to put in the 14k2d's and I run them daily for about three months now with out a problem. I think that lots of people use the gain knob for a volume switch and the amps are in clip and sound like azz. I would suggest to the people in here to listen to someone that has the Stetsom amp in their car not a speculator............just my opinion

Get whichever fits the budget, aren't most 7kw amps bad daily? Two many outputs or something...

I'd go DD Z2lv. I've repaired a couple before, but that was due to shorted output transistors, from subs dying and *poof*.

Not all 7K amps are bad for daily, just need to be built correctly and you need to supply the voltage.

To make it clear so not just spectators, The stetsom may do rated for burps but not daily. Signal is dirty and power is less at daily. Have done a few switching of amps from Stetsom to Zenon based and Zenon was cleaner and more power daily. Not trying to create a shit tossing match, but facts are facts. Go with the DD.

I was going to upgrade to a zenon based 7k and decided not to after research. Read too many negatives to do so, especially when spending $1200+
