DD/Audioque... Acceptable CS (recone)

If you ordered a recone from Digital Designs for an HD3 on say... 11/28 and were given a ship date promise of 11/30. Recone has not yet been shipped! Woulnd't you say that this is somewhat unacceptable? Just looking for some opinions here

it gets built in the order it was taken, sometimes its fast sometimes its a lil bit slow.....

DD only builds recones on 1 or 2 days of the week too

yeah... that's a lil slow then, i'd be mad. 2 days turns into 2 weeks.

yes. at 17 days AFTER they told you it would ship, you need to call and complain. there's issues there. my customers get items shipped the day its promised to them. a few days probably isnt a big deal for a company like that. but 17 days is beyond reason. at least inquire as to what's going on.

Okay then why give a promised ship date 2 days later and not send any kind of communications stating the reason for the delay??

Yeah if it hasn't been shipped yet, and you ordered it on the 28th of last month, thats not right. Have you tried to call them and make sure that your order wasn't lost?
