dd audio question

can one 18 inch dd audio 2500 take 2000 watt rms even tho they are rated 750 watts rms? i have a 2000 watt rms amp and i need one good qualitiy sub for it any suggestions?

if you want to give it that much power look into getting a 3518

What amp do you have? Also what kind of space do you have? It is best to make sure you have the space and power you think you do before you go buying stuff that won't work out in the end. Also, what electrical do you have to keep up with the current demand of 2krms?

Short burps it'll be alright, taking 2k daily...nope! 3518 for sure....and they are one hell of a step up!!

ok F it peeps thanks for the help im just gonna go with 1 15 fibtl intill i get more money for a bigger amp and another sub i am gonna get the one that is 3000 wrms will it be bad to underpower it by 1000 watts because my mean machine amp puts out only 2000 wrms or should i get the one rated 2000wrms

you could look around in the classified section of the forum and find some good deals on DD 35s i got my DD3515 for a pretty good price so you may want to check that out but the 35 series is a great sub it gets loud on 1000 rms and make people jump and shakes shirts about 2 feet from my truck @ 20hz so 2k should make your sub nice and happy.
