Just take a razor blade or exacto knife and remove the dustcap and see if you can see anything that looks bad. Then reglue it back on

Yup, sounds like a misaligned coil to me.

My 9510 is the same way. Bad rattling noise at low volumes but sounds fine turned up.

Tap the dustcap in the right place and it makes a "clicking" noise.
