DD 9515...toast?? :(

Well after playing my 9515 from a fresh recone something has gone wrong. Woofer makes a funy noise when on low volumes, sort of like something is hitting the cap. I can push around the outside of the cap and it doesnt make a scrapping noise untill you get to the top of the cap. Only when you press the top part of the cap does it make the scrapping noise. I dont see how I could've blown it this quick considering I had the gain 1/4th the way up, if that much. The subwoofer will still beat like crap when you turn it up it just makes this noise at low volumes and it also smelled like cow shit in my car when I played it at high voulmes for awhile. Well I'am not fimilair with this. I dont want to mess anything up worser then what it already is. So how do you reconnect it?

it seems to be coming from under the dustcap. this really is just my luck...

Ok so im looking it over and it seems to be the whole top part of the woofer...the bottom part is stiff as crap and doesnt make the noise but the top part from the center up is easy to press and makes the noise

well i cant make a picture but im trying to explain this the best way i can...when u tapp the top of the woofer(top as in, the top of the DD sticker up to the material that excurtes) it makes a pop noise like something is slapping against the cap. sorry for this non grammar write up im just trying to figure it out and im kind of mad

so OP selling blown motor w/ a legit serial number i can buy? or trade for a 9515?

btw, they are more musical than most people make em to be. one 9515 is way more musical than two type rs, but thats me. it aint like it some all out spl sub or nothin.
