i edited but people like those larger DD motors including myself. theres peopel out there that will pay 200-250 for just the motor

it is worth whatever someone is willing pay for it. Not sure why threads like this need to be made imo.

why not just help the guy out and give him a number... if in fact you know. If not, then why post? No shit it's worth what someone is willing to give, that doesn't give him an idea of market value. Acting better than someone, nevermind a fellow car audio enthusiest is a major fail at life.

well he is asking 200 but im sure i can get it for 150. its been on cl since the 16th of this month...i just figured this was a older model and didnt know what to think. i did a google search but didnt find anything actually saying the 9515 "D"

i was the one selling my dd 9512 d motor for 250. ended up trading for a 15" re mt. my motor was in pretty good condition though. but i guess no one was interested at the time

dude thank you. im not too sure if i will even keep the sub but ive always wante3d to run a 15 and see how i like it. so i figured i could play with it for a week or so then maybe part with it. i just need to find some specs on it...

so is the final decision 250-300? or 250-300 if it needs a recone

If the seller is asking 200 then that is a decent deal considering people told you that 200-250 and some said 300 for just the motor.

Go look at it check it out with a DMM and make your offer. IF you get it for 150 then bonus. Chances are this person knows what they have and they just want to move it so 150 offer might not fly but I am sure you can get the seller to knock something off the price tag.

The worse that can happen is he say's no, Then you just move on or make a counter offer.

The D motors were great. Well worth $250-325 if working.

I used to run a 9515d w/ a 20.1, sounded great.

Hell, just the motor w/ no basket is worth $200+, recone that sucker to ANYTHING you want.

ya im about to offer him 150 right now picked up friday...he was using a jbl bp 1200 on the sub...so im kinda hoping he doesnt know what the subwoofer is and i can get a good deal on it...
