DD 1008a + Vitveet box = AWESOME

Hey guys. Just got my downsized sub and box installed and I am VERY happy with it. I would have never thought an 8 could hit the lows this well. Specs of the box:

1.17 cubes before displacement

1.02 cubes after displacement (sub and double baffle)

tuned to 33.5hz

I am running the DD (single 4 ohm) on a sundown sae-1000d. This is the first DD sub I have had and though it is the bottom line model I can tell the build quality and output are second to none(of any sub I have had).

Also, I have had Vitveet design a box and build a box for me and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a good, solid box. His customer service and shipping protection are top notch! Thanks.

I've heard two setups with 1008's, they sound great for SPL subs. I just bought two 1508's myself.

if you drop down the size of the box to about .75 and tune around 38-40 you would be even more impressed
