dc xp 270 amps or mechman 220 amp ho alternator

Im going to be putting either one of these amps in my car..

aq 3500 = 380 amp draw

sundown 3500 = 300 amp draw (im guessing its more efficient?)

well which alternator would be a better choice? I like the mechman because of the adjustable voltage but the dc seems like its a little more powerful? thanks

Already called them up and the two that i listed above are cheaper and produce more amps. I also heard excessive doesnt really push out a lot on idle. I could be wrong though.

DC Power took from 9/16 until 10/20 to ship my alt out. I've heard a longish wait is kind of standard with them, but they have a great product.

Just something to keep in mind.

i ordered one a couple months ago and got it in a week. its a luck of the draw i guess

270xp is a beast especially at idle. well worth the money.

Mine shipped out and should be here by Wednesday.

I've heard nothing but good things about their product itself, it just seems like some people have to wait awhile. So, if you don't mind waiting, they are definitely worth checking out.
