dc vs sundown???

In all seriousness, i love sundown, solid amps, solid subs and excellent customer service. DC seems to have great products but i dont have much hands on experience with them and Rusty is cool to talk to and very helpful. They both are well established, well followed and well recomended companies.

IMHO DC is a little too expensive for my taste. Im not saying their product sucks cuz obviously it doesn't, it's just too expensive for me.

IMO, whoever posts on here will be bias. Im going to lean toward DC bc i have DC. Dpc69ss is going to lean toward Sundown bc he just received a a beautiful shipment from them this week.

honestly, both companies are great. both have awesome customer service. both have great products. you wont go wrong with either. have fun

They say it takes double cone area or double power to gain 1 db so considering he was 2K short of doubling power, i believe its solid that he would point that out and that in that case the woofers did make a different and not just 2K extra power. There is no way he shoudlve gained that much unless the nightshades should be louder to begin with, which it is obvious they are.

I have it on good authority that some level 5 motors that have been tested have not been as strong as they are supposed to be when gap strength was tested.

Ive ran both. my lvl 4xl was a ****ing beast and got loud while being underpowered. my 4 sa-12s are getting rated but really want more. I say whatever company fits in your budget and is avaliable at the time is who you should go with.
