DC sound lab LV4/LV5 18's or FI BTL 18"s ..help.

I'm about to put in a order for subs my van system, 2 18's.. still working on designing the system for my car. So it looks like its coming down to the FI BTLs and the DC Sound lab level 4 or 5's..have not decided yet. Whats the pros or cons of going with one sub over the other. Please no flaming, I just need to finalize my decision. This van will be driven on weekends & I would like enter a few soundoffs for fun this year with it maybe, nothing real professional.. so what do you think? Thanks

What kind of power will you have for them? And what is the budget?

I have not purchased any amps as of yet, I was planing on just running as close to "true" continuous/rms wattage specified by the sub manufacturer. As far as my budget I just sold my truck and have a nice IRS refund.. I'm pretty sure I wont have any trouble with my budgeting either of my builds, thankfully..knock on wood..

If power is no option, than go with the DC Level 5's. Even the level 4's will do you right with around 2-3k watts

One thing I know for sure. The prices on those LV4's are very good..makes me want to build a wall..

Well I just got a pm deal on a few DD 9518g's, I guess through those into the pot too... Ahh decisions decisions...

I am having a similar problem myself....

a lvl 4 with 5 parts.... sounds tempting... however...

1. i haven't seen or heard a dc... so whether or not it's hype... i dunno....

2. there are other subs out there that I know would perform....
