DC power supply... ideas?

i want to run my extra 15s 12s and 6.5s in my dorm room, i will be running about 1krms, need some brands or ideas..... is a 60amp rms batt charger and a batt a bad idea?

Just make sure you have the battery(s) well vented, batteries put off a acidic gas when they are being charged.

Buy real amplifiers and do it the right way.

I think a 550 watt power supply can support up to 500 watts off an amp. If its rated at 20-22 amps for 12v. And you can get those off ebay for 20$. Nvm thats for 300 watts lol. If you can find a pc power supply that puts out 85 amps at 12v..you can run a 1k watt rms amp. a 500 watt CPU puts out like 20..so yeah youd need a pretty monstrous power supply..Guess that ideas out the window.

Ya you got that right, my 12volt house stereo is a fire hazard with all my batteries and my big battery charger, but it's loud enough to move people's hair when sitting on my couch, so it's worth it for me.

Nothing wrong with having a loud home stereo, it's just that some of the ghetto engineering I've seen people recommend is amazing. And they'll recommend it like it's the right way to do things.
