THIS..im at 3 dcpower 270sps right now but will end up with 5.People cant get on there level.I mean when you have contracts with BOEING . .caraudio needs are a walk in the freakin park FYI

Exactly what I'm trying to say. Car audio is cake walk to these people. As I said before. DC is so ahead of the curve its nonsense to compare.

I know a guy on here does. Can't remember the name but it's a bad mofo of an alt. I've heard they are terrible to get ahold of though.

You can always fabricate brackets to run other alts, but It won't be a full harness alt. Just like how everyone runs a Large case gm alt on the crx.

I don't want to fabricate anything...Excessive Amperage can make me one that will bolt right in, but it's 355$ and I wanted to shop around

Mechman has never answered any of my emails as well.

I'll be in the alternator market sometime in the near future, and will be going with the company that gives me the best competitor support.

My 290 amp DC is amazing.... 165 at idle and 308 at 1700rpm.. beast

I ran a bolt on EA for about 3+ years with no issues. Spent 6+ hours bent over a 300M trying to make a bolt on Mechman fit, so that soured me on them.

Currently running a larger case DC and it took a little persuasion to make it fit, but nothing too difficult.

It can be a crap shoot with any HO alt company it seems, but meangreen is shit, so stay away from them...
