Cannot be determined by what you listed. But I am sure people will pop in and give an uneducated answer. Anyway, it is all dependent on the install. Plus you are asking two different directions. Try to give us more to work with to help you decide.

I don't think that many people have tested the two against each other yet.

I have a DC lvl 4 12" with lvl 5 soft parts hooked up to an older MTX 1501d its probally seeing 1300rms ish. In iirc 2.75ish cubes tuned to 33ish and it sounds ok but gets extremely loud IMO especialy for just 1 12. I think its more of a SPL orented:crapsp) driver, but it still sounds decent though.

As far as the HDC3 I have no clue nor any experiance with it.
