well since the stats on both for power are like the same. any thoughts between the 2 subs? looking more for spl numbers. my box right now is around 6 cube tuned tuned about 34 hz for daily. will be running off my discus 1500 right now, but may go up in power later on. just trying to stay in the 251-500 class. i'm looking at the 15's also btw.

I'd go with the SDC's based on them being more efficient and the fact that I've seen them put up good numbers...never seen lvl3's at a comp before.

i don't know how the SDC's will like the box because they like big, high tuned boxes so you'd probably have to redo that.

what about the 12's then? my spl port is tuned alot higher also.

i know the audioques like to b tune on the higher side. i had one 15inch 2.5 tune to 34.9 . i was thinking the same question

I hit a 148.2 on a 9.1 with the HDC318 copper. They can take at least twice the power they are rated at for daily, in the right box. On burps, a LOT more than rated.

I disagree. I think 34 hz is best for daily.
