What's with all the post dumping in this dude's thread? Check with the DC dealers if you want new, otherwise keep checking the classifieds...

And you're going to have to get in a PM deal w/ a dealer if you want pricing. They do everything they can to hide pricing. A good reason to find another brand if you ask me. Whatever floats your boat, though.

I'm not a big DC audio fan, more into SQ than SPL myself... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Their business model is great for value. It makes it so the dealers can charge whatever they want up to MSRP.

In this day and age with bargain basement stuff made in China, it makes sense to add value to your product by protecting dealer pricing.

Please explain more about this adding value as they will undercut dealers give completely different pricing on back to back calls and out right have no standards on pricing or dealer territory everything is hidden for a reason. Its a **** free for all.

meh... dc softparts are meh. if you seriously want a monster sub(s) go the custom route with some shocker sig tight gaps and atomic softparts. or something along those lines. it should be cheaper in the long run and I just happen to know a fellow that can build you up a pair...

I hope you enjoy the 250$ recone price if you plan to run 8K per sub. A friend of mine has broken a few LV6's on 5K. 10K tore the cone. It's a shame since the motor is beast, but if you seriously wanted to use that platform you'd do best to source your own softparts and build them yourself.... even then 8K into a single coil is going to burn it up very quickly, so you might as well email Precision Econowind, have a GOOD coil spun up for you, and order a couple dozen. Also may as well find a good source for cones and spiders while you're at it.

Yea ivv delt with dc on the norm already with there soft parts went threw 6 recones on 2 18 dc xl on a dc 12k lol But the xl's are only rated at 1500rms which alot of people don't get that lol they can take some power if played right a buddy of min was running 2 sounddigital 16k on 2 12inch level 5 m1's and they held up pretty decent......I almost don't even kno what to buy anymore lol everyone says Fi is not what they used to be but I was deffently looking into the n2's I was thinking spread the coil out get 4 15 woofers n2 with 2 7.5k will probley hold up way better then the 2 level 6 18's

Aren't atomic subs more for burping?
