same imp and same power maybe 1db.

keep inmind you could drop in dbs for power,imp rise and air movement in the box.

have seen alot of times drop in a bigger sub and loose dbs..

I got used to mine. It still sounds just as loud to me as when I first put it in, but I'm just used to that loudness of bass now. I wanna get louder and I want it to hurt, and then it will happen again.

The XLs have better SQ then the old 5s but I dont know about the new ones. SQ being a relative term. from what I have clamped out of this amp so far running at .7 will put the 5s just a bit under rated.

ROFLMAO This had me dying. Its all and I mean all in the box.

As far as your question in a direct swap I would expect a db gain or more. Theres a huge difference between the old 5's and the new m2's. In my own vehicle Im up 1.3 in the same box vs the m1 lvl 5's.
