you never mentioned power level, box size/tuning, etc...

HDC's in 6cubes each @ 35Hz will get very low and take an AQ3500 each with proper electrical. KHARPS runs the lvl4xl's, 2 12's in a blowthrough off a SD3k. His design peaks very low, but I know he has hurt one sub at that power level.

Either sub in the right enclosure can do the job...

DC's for sure like to get lower than the AQ's.

As far as power I think both are comparable given the right design.
