I was gonna go with 2 12" level 2's because i already have a box, but i changed my mind to a 15" level 3 and giving it about 700-800 watts.. thoughts?

I will get the box built by my neighbor who is a professional carpenter. i was thinking about 3-3.5 cubes ported, but what should i tune it to?

Also anyone with experience with this sub to tell me how it sounds would be great!

means they aren't overmotored so they overexcurt easy in large boxes, and low fs means it should be more comfortable playing the low notes...i realize this is the worst generalization ever.

i imagine people are putting them in too big of boxes, tuning above 35hz and over powering causing them to bottom out

i think 3 cubes at 32 is gravy. i heard the 12's ported in 1.5 each tuned to 33 and they sounded great. level 3's are the only dc's i've really liked the sound of. never heard the lvl 2 or straight 4 though
