I had my ssf set, and more than likely it didn't like 1500+watts getting thrown at it.... and was waiting to goWhat is the correct way to set the ssf? With a dmm? O-Scope? Or some other way?

a good rule of thumb is no lower than 10hz below box tuning...

how did you set your gains?
My level 3's are getting upwards of 900rms a piece and laugh at it. sundown 3500 @ 1 ohm

Set your ssf.

And you can fix that relatively easy. Buy tinsel lead and a new dustcap, remove dustcap and rewire some new tinsels.

yeah dont shell out the cash to recone it. with some wire and care you can fix that. ive done it many of times over throwing my btl...
