DC's 3000.1 is considerably less than $700 shipped. That's a pretty good deal for a 3,000 watt zenon amp imo.
It just depends on whether you like the zenon amps or not. Some love them, and others see nothing special. I haven't owned one, so I wanted to check them out.

They're zenon amps, and they have the exact same heatsinks as some of the RD Audio amplifiers that are available. These are the first zenon amps that I've seen, and I'm impressed. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

I'll document the build, but it won't be anything extraordinary.

The equipment:

hu: Clarion VRX575USB

front stage: 2x Rockford Fosgate T152S. Infinity Kappa 10.7t

rear fill: Infinity Reference 6032si

subs: 2x Kicker 07CVR12-4 (sealed/Kicker's specs)

4 channel: DC Audio PAI-120.4

mono: DC Audio PAI-1000.1D

batt: Kinetik HC 2000

The subs are the weak link, but they'll be changed out once they die. No point in letting them go to waste.
