If he gets 500 for it I would be suprised... but that would leave a little wiggle room to buy a nice sub (used) and keep a little money. Maybe even get two SA 12s or other "budget sub" and keep a little cash.

Guess its possible. Lol I had a friend that bought one new for almost a grand. I think. I could do so much better for that kind of money. Lol. But they are nice subs.. just not worth what they cost.

love my dc xl 15 and it gets low. Had it on 1200 at 2 ohms and it got pretty loud. If he plans on upgrading to more power in the future, you would have room to play with on the xl.

for the money the hdc4 is a steal..

I know ya got 1100 but it will still pound in a large box..
