just do Bass Race. Theres a class for just about any budget. Its all about control not equipment. Hell even a guy with a Walmart stereo can have a chance at winning the 129.9 class.

I suppose....

You'll have a hard time placing at world finals without one.

The wire, buss bars, etc. could probably run ya up to about, what , about $800 if you have quite a few runs.

Don't forget recones, a trailer, a really good battery charger, and money for traveling and event fees.

Then general maintence on your CRX to keep it running.Then insurance on it. Cost of wood, and then aeroports if you decide to go that route.

As for non cash related, pretty much forget about your social life due to all the testing. SPL WILL be your social life........well actually it'll become your whole life.

World finals is only practicle if you have money to blow, nothing to do with your time, and a lot of patience.
