Dayton rs 7" or Kicker SSMB8 for 3-way mid bass

dont forget, that is MSRP, im sure retail is like 1\2 that price. im going to call them again tomrrow and ask how much they should retail for and where i can get them.

the guy "blue" on here works (and i suppose is 1\2 owner?) of a shop and they deal critical mass, but he cant seem to give me any sort of price or somthing? its been like 3 days of me asking him how much they would cost and it seems every day he hasnt got a price and theres another reason.

sigh.

I have experence with both drivers. The Daytons are by far the better midbasses. The kickers never seemed to really go that low and distorted to quick. I have 2 of the daytons in each door right now, crossed over at 60hz. Each pr is getting about 250watts. Most impressive, you might even decide to ditch the polys after hearing them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Oh as for the kicker they were in my 03 S-10. Heavy dynamatting and driven with a MTX 8302, about 100-125 watts each. Crossed over active at 75hz. Could not go any lower with them. Hope this helps

Have any one seen these. Check out the video to the bottom left.

yeah those are some pretty cool drivers and i have used them before.

but the depth is just too much for my doors.

well now i am just confused.

maybe i will get 2 pairs of the 7" dayton

put a pair in my kicks for midrange

and a pair in the doors for the mid-bass.

and it looks like 4 of the daytons will cost about $136 shipped while the kickers will be about $105 and i can sell the poly's to offset the cost of the daytons.

making the daytons practically free.

grr......

so now it seems like the daytons take the lead.

soo many choices.

and thanks giantgloworm for the heads up
