im thinking about adding kick panels in the front of my car and moving my comps to them. this leaves a hole in my doors that originally had 8 inch bose drivers. i found these dayton audio 8 inch subs that only have a depth of 2.5 inches.

Dayton NS210-44 8" Neodymium Low-Profile DVC Subwoofer

i have 2 questions, how would these perform mounted in the doors with no real box, and are these woofers any good? i only want them to add some mid bass the back of my car will already have 12's in it

i cant have something to tall that i cant put the door panel back on, how do u think i fit 6.5's in 8 inch and 4 inch holes in my dors to begin with bro

i was sort of hoping id find a free air 8 lol

8s are what everyone wants to have in their doors for midbass bro...get some they're awesome. we just settle because 6.5s sound pretty good and fit pretty easily everywhere, some vehicles come with 8inch drivers standard.
