Just wondering if ne one is going to be out scavenging low prices. I'm goin with my friends who are going to try and get a laptop and the other wants a 50" HDTV.

I want to try and score a smaller 30 inch type HDTV for

Doesnt need to be hugely fancy, but would b nice if it did 1080p.

Thoughts on these sales?

the ONLY 1080p tv under 40'' is the 32'' sharp aquos http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-Aquos-LC32D62U-1080p-HDTV/dp/B000NEDYEC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/104-5274758-7793525?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1194911906&sr=8-2

other then that you will gt a 720p/1080i.

and your best bet will be a 32'' and the res will be native at 1366x768 so it will accept the 1080i but downgrade to 720p because thats the 720p resolution.

the next bigger resolution is usually only seen in 40+ inch but sharp kicks *** and made a 32''..

most new ps3 games are 1080i, but some still are 720p.

nothing is being broadcasted in higher then 1080i for television, and even then most 1080i tv's are really only 720p anyways. besides 1080p is only needed with the big *** tvs that are like 50+''
