For my front stage I have a pair of 4" separates in the kick and 6.5" midbass in the factory locations in the doors, all RF Fanatic Q series and powered by RF Power series amps. I used to have them running through a Rockford EPX2 processor, but the bass kept killing it so I pulled it out.

Does the 4" ever get in the way since it's in the kick?

Yes sir! Quad 1 ohm;-)

They do get in the way a little, but thats because I never made a kick panel pod before so it's a little bigger than it needs to be. If your on the passengerside it's bigger, but the driverside isn't as bad.

I have some somewhere, I'll have to look around for them. It's 6 degree's outside so I'm not planning to go out to take any right now.

Dang, I don't blame you.

Ok.....so I tested a little bit. Wired down to .25 ohms, all I could manage was a 145.8...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Peak was @ 50

So after looking at my pages, it was almost completley flat between 40 and 55hz. Don't know if that's useful..

Ok. Cut the ports from 15.5 to 13 this morning. Lunch now, testing next

Ok...so. I lost .2 dbzzz...Wired @ 1 ohm and .25. Lost .2 for each score.

But it's about 20 degrees colder than what it was before but then again my car warmed up....So before any changes, i'm going to make sure the ports are good and sealed and try again tomorrow. And it was also weird cause usually I gain about .7 when my rpm's is up, today, lost .4 everytime. Triangle windows? Usually gain .5, today, gained .1.....

That's all right. I stuck it in a prefab box. Got a 145.82. It's sub back, port back. With just the door open. No other variables.

Oh yeah, The peak was also the same for the prefab box too. 55 hz
