Dash Speakers

I'm replacing my system soon, and am going to order all the parts within a week or two. Ive oticed my left dash speaker is blown, should I replace them? The size is 4". If I do decide to replace them, should I just run them off head unit power(50x4 according to kenwood) or amplify them(probably not I would think).

ANd real quick, any opinions of Polk db6500's for components?

Is there really any point of putting in kick panels since I will already have components in the front seats? Basically my question is would it be worth it to pay the ~$40 for new dash speakers(since one of mine is blown anyway) and run them of HU power.

i did it - i'm not regretting it

and if you want some - i've got 2 Boston Acoustics 4" i'd be willin to let go for $40 shipped

In that case, just forget the dash speakers.

They would screw up your imaging and wouldnt add anything in return with them being only 4".
