dang yo, no sound from my laptop

yea this sux...i turn my laptop on today, try to play some music, and no freakin music comin out of it! i check the driver and everything is okay, i plug a set of headphones in the jack, sounds okay, but theres no sound coming out of the laptop speakers themselves. could it be that my speakers are blown? i pray not.

What about the 'Wave' Volume slider in the volume control panel?

everything is up at max. i mean it worked with external speakers but not hte built in ones

dont know if this will help but somtimes u mute the media player on accident. happens to me once in a while. my bad never mind

I know you said your headphones still work, but if you care about SQ at all from the laptop, buy one of these. I bought it after i leaned on, and broke my headphone outputs, and another guy mentioned it to me, much as how i am towards you.

go into device manager, disable your sound driver, and reboot your computer. windows will load up their default driver and that might fix it.
