I heard they got so much snow that not only did they have to dig their cars out, they had to dig their selves out of their house to get their car to dig out their car.

yea, drifts usually form a wall of snow in front of the your door... before you can get out to drive anywhere, you must shuvvle a path through the wall of snow, then shuvvle the snow around your car... this is all assuming your driveway/ road has been plowed.

I also remember years ago up in Buffalo they got mad snow drifts and one of them covered this log cabin type of house and I remember the kids were snowboarding down the side of the log cabin. It was da funny!

Yes I would much rather have hurricanes that does literally millons and millons of damage and the very dangerous tornados over some snow. Lets weigh the options.

i live only 30 miles from oswego. I have almost NO snow. Alot of people dont know how localized and serious lake effect snow is
