Dang hard drive

i got a 40 gig hard drive and only have 37gigs. they round the d@am things up. but thats a long ways from 250. i didnt even know they made that big of a drive.

well I was gonna say that companies use decimals systems instead of binary to give you the number they market (in your case 250) but even after that rounding and installing an OS you shouldn't lose "that much"

so I'm kind of stuck on that one =/.....

mine also said 40gig but it only has 33.7. fuking BS

dude

you need to make it so it has like three partitions.

Windows doesn't recognize past something around 130 gigs.

If you partition it into two parts of 125gigs you should be fine.

you can use a Windows XP cd to do the partitioning
