Dampening Material ..

DOes anyone know how much i should purchase for my corolla. I dont mind buying extra but i also dont want to get too much. I plan on dampening my front doors and my trunk for now. later on ill dampen the back doors. I plan on ordering some Second Skin. measure out your doors and trunk then add it all up to a rough estimate

I got about 10sqft for just the top of my trunk, and behind the license plate

I'm prolly going to put it in tomorrow, and I'll let you know how much I have left.

On second skin's forum they have an estimate on how many sqft are needed for each part of a car ( doors, trunk, top of trunk, firewall, etc )

RAAMatt is sapposed to be good stuff too.

I have ~60sqft in my truck and all I did was the back wall and the doors.

ok.. i measured my doors not sure if this is correct .. i got 63ft for my doors and ~78ft for my trunk .. 34w by 22h times 2. My trunklid i split in half so the bottom half is 46 x 10 and the top is 36 by 13 ... does that sound correct ?? am i measuring it wrong?

for a 2dr accord(did doors and trunk and trunk lid) i ordered 80 square feet and i will have to order a lil bit more to finish. i dampened every visible part of the trunk the lid , 2 layers on the inner door skin and a 3rd layer around the speaker area and then 1 layer on the outer door panel. i also plan on buying some spectrum and doing atleast the wheel wells. dont know if that'll give you an estimate or not.

PS. if anyone has any damplifier or spectrum(unopened) i am looking to get some more. if not ill just holler back at anthony.
