Damaged MT, Thanks UPS

My advice for a claim. Take pictures, keep all packaging, get everyone's name you talk to (name, call center, they might have an identifying number of some sort). Keep a long of your conversation. Pretty much all of them will drag their feet on a insurance claim.

jb weld should work to fix that basket. luckily, the one spoke that broke is not the only spoke holding the sub together. who would have thought. i would take DETAILED PICTURES OF BOTH SUBS, and put a **** claim on both. why not? because you can. then have the one re-basket'd from RE and dun worry about the other. it should be fine.

i would have used black CA glue on the cone rather than gorillia glue, but thats me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The only reason i used gorilla glue, was cause i was able to do it from the back side. Cant even tell its there. And ya know, fuk em, im filing a claim on both.

Here is some pics of the other damaged sub. Chad filed the claim today, so we will see what happens from here.

And one for fun.....This is the one with the hole in it, fixed until ups makes their decision.

I just got done fighting to get a monitor I shipped covered from UPS. There is supposed to be 2" of packing on all 6 sides or they will not cover the claim. You will have to really give them a hard time to get the subs covered, but I did get my claim taken care of, took about 4-6 weeks of phone calls.

UPDATE: UPS wants me to take in the subs packaged up so they can look at them. Question....should i take off the gorilla glue i used to fix the hole in the cone? Also, should i be extra cautious and beef up the packaging a little just to make sure they dont fuk me?

Also, any other tips or pointers or suggestions?

Thanks

They keep a log of how much it weighed. Get carried and you will get ****ed (for commiting fraud really).
