OK, got my MTs today from 02parkave here on the forums. First off, hes a great seller, were just as described, couldnt even tell they were used. But i open up the box, and one of the screws from the wood supports that were in the box, were shoved through the cone. All of the wood supports were broken. I couldnt believe it. I will get pics up tomorrow. But what i want to know is, will a recone fix this? Do i have other options, i think just silicone may fix it. How much IS a recone? And what is the best route to take when filing a claim. Thanks

yea i will get pics tomorrow. Im sure im making it sounds worse than it is. Its a small flaw, but a flaw nontheless. They were packaged great, from what i could tell, but of course all the packaging was fuked up when i got them anyway. On a side note, 18" MTs are some big bad mean looking mutha fukas

Hello-

Im the one that sold the subs to him, and i just came to clear it up- the subs were packaged in the original wooden crates. I have never filed a claim before, so i hope this goes ok. Anyone know the easest way to do it? thanks. sorry about the damage bjfish. Hope this gets cleared up soon!

just be sure to keep all the packaging, ups will send someout to inspect it, they will try to blame rhe way it was packaged anyway. ups sucks when it comes to paying for damage that they cause...

sweet, looks like i wont see a dime then. I will get pics up here in a few minutes. I have to say again, that they were packaged well, just taken poor care of in transit.

You might not be able to tell in the pics, cause i have a shitty digital camera. But what i think happened was, a screw that was in the box that was holding all the wood suppports together, punctured through the cone. It just kind of tore through, but none of the cone pieces are missing, so there isnt a hole of any sort. But, it did poke ALL THE WAY through, but its hard to see in the pics. Thats why i think i may be able to get by with applying silicone to the backside of the cone to just hold everything up. What do you guys think?

it wasnt bad packing for like the 3rd time. These boxes were torn to holy living hell when i got them. All the wood supports were broke, it OBVIOUSLY wasnt bad packaging as stated in both posts 5 and 10.
