racing requires the driver to be in excellent physical condition... nascar does not require this.

And have actual skill, hence rally racing, NASCAR is 2000 left turns in a row over 500 miles, boring as hell and lets be honest, anyone can do it.

Yes you do have to have skill to drive NASCAR, just like you have to have skill in rally racing. But not just anyone can race NASCAR, just like rally racing. you have to be able to man handle a car that weighs 3500 pounds at 200 Mph. Yes in NASCAR you mainly just turn left, but to say that you don't need any physical strength is bs. it gets hot as hell in those cars during a race, plus you have to have the stamina to last the length of a race.

your opinions would be valid if you actually looked into the sport and tried to understand it rather than throwing it off as 'a bunch of left turns'. They do turn right, it's called a road course. And It does get hot as hell in there, and also the helmet is cooled, not the car. It's the fastest growing sport in America. Also it has the most spectators of any sport. It's more competitive today than it ever has been in the past, it just grows. You guys should sit down and watch a couple races sometime, pick a driver, for fun or for seriousness. Either way you will enjoy watching them race every weekend if you jsut LEARN the sport rather than writing it off as lame because of ignorant reasons.

p.s. you should go to a NASCAR race, its fun as hell

im not really a nascar fan but i do respect the sport....one of my cousins once said 180mph, quarter inch off the guys bumper with no tail lights thats a sport lol

if you see any other racer get interviewed and asked if they would ever race nascar they do say its one of the hardest types of racing.....

And they do what, 2 or 3 road courses a year? And they **** *** at them to boot. Put them up against a rally car driver, an F1 driver or a LeMans driver and they would have their ***** handed to them faster than their cars even travel. NASCAR is the fastest growing because rednecks reproduce at a much faster rate than the non redneck intelligent people of the world, just a fact.
