a few of them...18s, I used a single 12 daily and 6 10s at one time.. work just like any other spl oriented sub would daily.. just square lol..

depends on your enclosure really..

The Solo X isnt a horrible sounding woofer - as Low said it depends on how your enclosure is designed and how well you've put everything together. If you're not used to high sound quality audio, then the X should sound just fine to you, maybe a tad sloppy but not unbearably.
