Okay, I need some help.

Im just looking for a really good daily set-up for listening to some DNB [drum n bass] music.

I want to build a ported 12" box for my 97 civic hatch. Should I really spend the additional money [about 70 per sub] to get the d6's?

If two 12" d3's will sound really good, should I just go with them?

Will I need to get a battery for the hatch?

Not stuck on diamond. I would love to stay under 170 per sub tho. if i could be less than 150 per sub that would be cool too. Im not stuck on diamond. You have anything that will handle the 1200.1 and sound good for some dnb ?

ebay has ill prices for subs

Lots of subs out there meet your requirements. You have to know what you have available though. How much space do you have for the subs? That's gonna be important in determining if you can actually fit 2 12s in a ported box in there.

33" wide

about 19" tall to sit flush with the rear window

and 28" long before the rear seat. Im considering removing the rear seat if I need to.

so what you think? doable?

edit: what other subs are there?

Yep I have a 95 hatch, 2 12's, 4.2 cubes. Barely fits but it fits. And Dragnix, the amp is very solid, I haven't pushed it near it's limits but it hasn't given me any trouble since I have had it. Both the 75.4 and 1200 have been good to me, and I have a hookup at a local shop so I got them super cheap.

The box in my hatch is 34 wide, 19 tall and 22 deep, so you have plenty of room.

There are a bunch of companies out there that I can't even sit here and think of them all in one day. Snoop around the classifieds to see what you can find. The more popular ones are FI, Sundown, Audioque, DC, Mach5

ok now that I know Ill have room... im down to 3 remaining questions...

1. what subs should I get

2. how do i build this box? any easy programs? i want it to sound good for dnb and rap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

3. should I pay a shop to tune my deck? Its a kenwood excelon x493 and there are so many options im lost lol and the manual blows

and the classifieds have used stuff. I was trying to find some on ebay new, because they are cheaper
