I Was Talking Via Email Today From A Guy A Modz Dist.... Here In Canada... I Am Considering Running Some New Stuff In My Truck.... He Told Me Hands Down. That If I Put In A Treo Of Dd Audio 1000's 12" , It Would Blow Away 7500's Series Mtx, Kicker Comps, Type R's, Pioneer 3004 Spl, And A Few Other... He Thought That 1000 Series Are A Good Overall Driver... What Do You Guys Think... Has Any One Had Experience With 1000's From Dd Audio.... Let Me Know... I Wanna Purchase Within This Week When I Get My Truck Back From Auto Body, And Accesory Shop....

The 1000 series are primarily what we install in most daily driver systems. I recommend them in their price range over any other driver hands down. Our most popular system is a pair of 1010s or 1012s on a DDC2 amplifier. The enclosure ofcoarse has alot to do with it, but you get essentially an entry level priced subwoofer that has all of the guts of a higher dollar woofer with a suspension that can actually handle an efficient ( mid-high volume/ large vent ) enclosure and not fall apart. The 1000a series subs have 4 spiders and they are tough as nails. Put the C2 which is rated at 600wrms @ 2ohm mono @ 0.25%thd.......(meaning at normal distortion levels that ordinary customers will get it to, it'll produce quite a bit more @ 13.8V) on a pair of 1000s in a good vented enclosure and you've got some *ss in the trunk. Turn it up and you might get some *ss in the front seat! If you plan on running a trio of them, put them on about a 1200-1500wrms @ 1ohm amplifier. Like the M1. It's *ahem* rated at 600wrms also @ 1ohm 12V @ 0.5%thd.
