Setup: 4ga power wire (stinger), 100amp anl power wire fuse, d-block (4ga input, 2x 8ga output, 40amp agu fuse x2), sub amp Lanzar 1200d vibe (black version, 3x 30amp fuses), component amp 400w 2channel lanzar vibe (black version), alpine 9856 head unit, phoenix gold rsd6 component set, 14ga speaker wire on components, subs Kicker comp 10s single 4ohm vc wired in parellel to 2ohm, Ground and power wire is 8ga for both amps due to D-block size
Problem: So i just got the used vibe 1200d of ebay (had same amp a while back and loved it on my re sx15) and as soon as i got it I had noticed all 3 30amp fuses were blown. the seller was emphatic that the amp was in working condition (idk bout that now.) I replaced all the amps fuses wit new 30amps, checked my ohm load on my subs, gettin around 13v at d-block and ground (same for both amps.) Every time I turn my head unit on the d-block fuse blows on the sub amp (gain and bass knob all the way dwn). when i turn on the head unit the red light under the green amp power light comes on and then the 40amp d-block fuse blows. the componentspeaker amp is just fine, just the mono amp is blown fuses. Any suggestions???????????
