CVR's not getting loud

I have 2 kicker cvr 10s in .6cu ft a piece. Really small sealed box, they are not getting loud and they arent sounding to good either. My infinity kappa perfects sounded way better and louder.

Id like something that will be a lot louder in a small sealed box with an excursion of 14mm or they will hit the bak of my seat.

somethin around 350 to 400 rms

mounting depth less then 6in

excursion of less than 14mm

works well in small enclosure wired at 2ohms

What would be the loudest sub i can get that would work in this application.

price limit 400 for both and under

a qpower delux would really pound in that setup, but no one ever gives em a shot. sad. $50 a piece too, and pretty shallow. check em out 1000 rms right here.

Uh no on the jl 10w7 way to much excursion and to much money, and thats the tough part by the look of it those q power subs had to much excursion that will hit the back of my seats.

Have you checked the wiring for correct ohm load on the amp and the phase?

I kno i wired them correctly. Phase? I kinda think i did somethin wrong cuz i heard they were supposed to get much louder than the kappa perfects were. The gains are around half way.

i hate to say it but there not going to get as loud or even sound as good as the perfects... i know from experience.

Are they dual 2 or dual 4 voice coil subs and how do you have them wired?

ur box is prolly to small for the subs, if it was a box say 1 cu foot each maybe a lil louder

I beat 4 CVR 15's in a wall with 1 L7 by about 4 db's. They're not "loud" subs, imo.

Loud and a single sealed sub usually don't go well together. Get more power and a low tuned box and you'd probably be happier. Subs aren't magical.

I cant get the boxes any bigger and the 2 boxes are the only ones that will fit behind my seats. There is no room back there. But since the cvr's arent working to well which 2 tens will work best with the room i have? I want loud.

Stuff a bunch of loose polyfil in the box. That'll make the setup behave as if there is more room than there really is.
