i have an hk4000 and my subs can't handle it.they are 1100 rms a piece 2 total for 2200 rm.anyone have some suggestions on a good setup?RE FI DD something that can handle daily.thanks

having 4 batts on a 160 amp alt seems like alot to me

in his defense, the HK amps are total power hogs....plus they're seriously flakey when they get around a 11v feed to them during transients.

Just get some subs that take around 750 per coil (like some dvc 2's) and that should give you enough headroom.

thanks,i got some audiobahn subs right now but id like to get something thats rebuildable.i just dont think there what they state they are with only a 120oz mag.
