Cutting pwnt me...

I cut the little corner piece of my door panel (seperate from the panel itself) up to fit my tweeters there:

As you can see, the cutting pwnt me... Is there an easy way (without fiberglassing the whole thing) to make a little trim ring for around the tweeter? The corner piece isn't flat, it has a bend in it right in the middle of where the tweeter is mounted.

Thanks for any and all help.

why the hell would you use a jigsaw on something like that in the 1st place...

somehow attach some wood to the back of it and re-cut it out with a holesaw. thatll give you a little larger hole than you need, then you may be able to make a small trim ring or something to cover the gap. IMO fiberglassing em would be a better choice though.

Dave - what size boards do they come in, and for how much?

netherland - If you aren't a dumbass (me), you'll be fine. Be smart and use a hole saw...

Sergei - I have rear mount tweets.

Well I might go with fiberglassing... I was thinking about that in the first place, anyways. I'll probably try David's idea first, though.

yikes. Junk yard might have replacement trim and start over. You could also just get a thin piece of ABS from pretty much anywhere and create your own bezel, heat with hair dryer to bend to the curve and squish it all back together... or get fancy and cut the hole a little bigger with a hole saw, then fiber glass in a nice embedded and curved sink hole for the tweet mounts. That'd be pretty slick.
