how do you guys go about drawing the circles on your wood and then cutting them out perfectly? jigsaw?
That's exactly how I do it.^ or a ruler and nail, just cut a little slot in the end of the ruler for a pen/pencil to sit in, nail it down through the radius you want where the center of the circle should be, spin it around and you've got a perfect circle drawn out, cut out with a jigsaw.
Yup...you dont need to cut it into a square either just cut a square and put it on top of it, or just make a whole extra bafflecool. ill do that ruler idea then. thanks!also, i think i made the cuts a little too big for my 12s, am i able to cut a square hole in the baffle and then build another ontop of that? it would add some volume but it shouldent be much at all
i do same but at desired diameter i shoot a screw through and use that to mark the circle and it cuts a slight groove in the wood and jigsaw will follow it very nicelyi take a scrap of wood. preferably 1" wide and however long. screw on one side , and measure from there. drill a hole at your desired diameter for pen/pencil. spin in circle.i usually save the scrap and mark the size it is , but i havnt build anything latly. so i trashed all mine.
