I used 1/4" thick masonite (can be bought for less than $5 at home depot) to make it and it is very strong and perfect for a jig base.

Just remember, when you're measuring to see how far away to place the pivot point, measure from the outside of the bit with the router attached.

The first hole shows an eleven inch cutout (5.5" radius) and the second pictures shows a 5 and something inch cutout for a 6" speaker. Both turned out perfect where the drivers fit in without sanding and didn't need to be pressed in at all. Once they were in, they could not move around at all.
