usually, they have a sign right next to the cutting center, where it explains that they are not expected to make any precision cuts. Their tools itself are not accurate.

Home depot always sucks around here, I get it chopped and usually the blade is not square, the cut may be on at the top and off by 1/4" at the bottom

Their saws can be pretty accurate IF you know what you're doing.But 90% of the workers there do not.They're not there to make nice pretty cuts, they're there to just cut it fairly close.If you were getting paid minimum wage would, you care how straight some random guys cuts are?

At my local HD just depends on who cuts the wood, Like moe said, I usually just get mine chopped in half for easier transport and cutting, and some of the bastards cant even do that

i happen to work at lowes and yeah your cuts may be off a little if your an @$$hole, or asking for a ton of cuts, but hell be cool w/ me and ill cut ur shit all day long as accurate as i can w/ the tools we have, dosent matter to me id rather make a box for someone than workin on some BS they have me doin

I wasn't being a dick or anything just gave the dude the plans and asked him to cut. I didn't even complain when he was off a 1/4" I just used extra silicon I figured I would jump this thread back up because I plan to have pics tonight or tommorow. One of the 18 in the sealed 8 cubes(which I love) and one of the 15" mofo in 4 cubes @ 32.... Both *****.

EDIT: I like my 18 too much so I think I'm gonna recone it rather than sell it. The box will soon be ported.. 2 6" aero ports at 14.21" Ghetto mounted for a tuning of 32 hz if I'm not mistaken.
