Cutout size for SA-12 and Alpine type rs

Right now i have Alpine Type Rs 12" with a cutout size of 10 13/16. But i just bought two SA-12s so when they get here i plan on putting them in. Those require a 10 15/16 cutout size. If i just make an 11" cutout would it work for both of the subs?

why not just make the cutout the larger of the two?

make it as small as possible and still fit the bigger sub in...common sense 10" 15\16
