Customer Issue

Yeah I'd say he's a dumbass for leaving the stuff in his car nevermind the fact he left in plain view on the back seat...and if you feel you locked the doors then dont let him convince you otherwise...but at the same time sometimes you gotta smile and take one for the team to keep the guy happy if he likes to talk shit it could be a problem his story sounds fishy to me tho...

 
He said he checked the car over, and it wasn't there.

My manager is faxing it to our insurance and claims department, but he said that they are going to tell him he's out of luck, since he signed the workorder, therefore, agreeing to the terms on it.

We can really only make claims on both sides- he cannot prove that there was a camera in there, and I cannot prove that I locked the doors.

 
The only thing that sucks is that the insurance company doesn't care if its your fault or not. They will pay out for a new one. I've had many different occasions where they shouldn't have paid for something, but did anyway.
