Drop Bass Not Bombs
Well im getting kind of bored with factory subs and ive been seeing every 1 on here with these custom subs they have built and i was trying to get a few cheap subs that i can practice on but i dont know what parts fit to each other so if any 1 can please help me get going on this and again i can stress enough on the cheap part lol. i dont care how much power they can take just wanting to learn.

My advice is to buy a blown sub, strip it down to the motor and basket... then go to team psi and have them build you a drop in recone to your liking, then glue it together and voila you have yourself a custom sub

thats what im planning to do to start been looking blown subs local havent had luck yet but i still want to get into different coils, baskets, and motors too because car audio has been a hobby of mine and i would like to keep going deeper into it.

A motor with a 3" coil is best to use. Parts are easier to come by for them. Try finding something like a TC9, RE SE, SX, etc type of motor. Theyre great and go for cheap.

Find something, then email us to see if we have parts for it. If it's a US built, or underground type sub, chances are you'll have no issues with parts selection from us.

When you email us, let us know what you want to make from it, and we'll go from there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I used to buy blown subs from local dealers all the time. When they are out of warranty and no one wants to pay to fix em they wind up with many blown subs.

me and a friend had thought of that but most of the dealers around here are ***** so i havent called any yet but i will give that a try

i have a couple nice tc9 motors on hand and i could build you what ever size drop in you want (8"-18")and send you everything you need to to assemble it. or i could just build it for you as a custom.

if you decide to go with a 2.5" coil motor i have all the common sized coils to match up and parts to go with them, its cheaper that route. just shoot me a pm....

well i called all the dealers with any decent brands and they all trash there blown subs but im going to talk to a guy that deals mmats and see if next time he gets any if i can buy them
