Custom sub?

Imma be getting an HDS315 motor and basket trying to decide if I should do stock recone or try for a custom sub what's your guys opinion?

Skys the limit, really. That said, i generally like well designed oem subs better than custom.... A lot of people like the uniqueness of "custom"... But i listen to speakers, not brag about them on the net

My HDS2 coils rubbing a little, so I either can just recone it for $55 or buy the HDS315 motor and basket for $100 then recone it for $80. Which at that point might as well buy a new one. Or deal with the coil rub till I can afford a worthwhile upgrade. Its really only audible at low volume

Deal with it and save for an hdc4. Pure and simple. All my years of car audio, ive learned to not do pansy upgrades and just go big with it, its much better on the pocket since the satisfaction rate is much higher vs constantly changing.

I was thinking an HDC3 what's the difference between the two? Im only going to have a kicker ZX1000.1 to push it certified at 1322@2ohms but imma torture it once electrical is good and wire it down to 1
